 1947. 05.04・Elder Inauguration Ceremony of Deacons Lee Jung Nyul, Kim Suk Jin and Kwon Tae Ak.

 1946.02.10・Led by Tokyo United Church, 7 churches in the Tokyo province merge and renames itself as "Chosun Christian Tokyo Church in Japan." Decides on the second Sunday of February as its founding anniversary day.


 1942. 02.10・Rev. Oh Yoon Tae (a Presbyterian) becomes the 14th pastor.


 1939・The present church site in Iidabashi, Tokyo, aquired.

 1938. 10.01・Rev. Kim Chi Sun (a Presbyterian) becomes the 13th pastor.

 1937. 04・Church renamed as "Tokyo Central Church."


 1935・Rev. Oh Taek Gwan (a Presbyterian) becomes the 12th pastor.

 1934.05.01・Rev. Kim Joo Chul (a Methodist) becomes the 11th pastor.
Holds additional pastor posts at Kanda, Yokohama and Fukagawa.

 1931. 09・Rev. Kim Eung Tae (a Methodist) becomes the 10th pastor.
Holds additional pastor posts at Kanda, Tsukishima; in Yokohama from Dec. 2, 1932.

 1929. 12.15・Rev. Kim Gil Chang (a Methodist) becomes the 9th pastor.
From 1930, holds additional pastor posts in such areas as Yokohama, Meguro and Zatsushigaya.

 1929. 04.07・Worship service at the new YMCA building takes place.

 1927. 10・Rev. Shin Gong Sook (a Methodist) becomes the 8th pastor.

 1925. 05.02・Worship service at the Chinese Christian Youth Assembly auditorium takes place.
The first church weekly bulletin "kyobo" published.
(Enrollment as of Nov. 15: 140 men and 42 women)

 1924. 09・Rev. Seo Sang Hyun (a Presbyterian) becomes the 7th pastor.
The communion commemoration worship together with YMCA observed.

 1923. 09.01・Tokyo YMCA building, used as the worship hall for the Tokyo United Church, destroyed by the Great Kanto earthquake.

 1921・Rev. Oh Ki Sun (a Methodist) becomes the 6th pastor.

 1919.02.08・Numerous members of the church congregation take part at the "February 8th Declaration of Independence Movement."

 1917.10.07・Yokohama Church found.
The Rev. Lee Yeo Hun serves both churches as pastor.
Rev. Park Jong Soon (a Presbyterian) becomes the 5th pastor.

 1916. 09. 30・Rev. Lee Yeo Hun (a Presbyterian) becomes the 4th pastor.

 1914.08・Rev. Oh Ki Sun (a Methodist) becomes the 3rd pastor.


 1913.09・Rev. Joo Gong Sam (a Presbyterian) becomes the 2nd pastor.
80 baptized, 40 preliminaries, and 40 visitors. Approximately 80 to 100 people attend Sunday services on a regular basis.

 1911・The Presbyterian General Assembly in Korea and the Methodist Church of Korea agree to take turn in dispatching ministers to Japan. At the same time, names the church "Tokyo Chosun Christian United Church in Japan" ("Tokyo United Church").


 1909. 05・Rev. Han Suk Jin (a Presbyterian) becomes the 1st pastor.
Appoints three leaders (Cho Man Shik, Kim Jung Shik and Oh Chan Dong) and four deacons.
The church entity is organized.


 1908・Elder Jung Ik No arrives in Japan from Pyongyang and leads the worship service at the Tokyo YMCA attended by Kim Jung Shik, the Director of YMCA, and about 10 student christians. After the worship service, a proposal to build a new church apart from the Tokyo YMCA is made which is accepted unanimously. This outcome is reported to the Presbyterian General Assembly in Korea and the request to dispatch one pastor from Korea to the new church is made simultaneously. Hence, the birth of "Tokyo Church."
